Ultra Tube knock off on YouTube

I saw this larger version knock off also called Ultra Tube while surfing Youtube. Anyone know where you can buy this? I am the like the individual who buys their "Gucci" bag on the street. I really like the trick but cannot afford the Tenyo version. Actually, I think I prefer the knock off version b...

Re: Those tell tale noises

a little extension to the discussion about noise.....Given that the Crystal Cleaver makes some noise, you could shake it several times allowing the ring to raddle all the while by pointing it out. You could then take the entire prop and say "one, two" and then ask the audience to scream "three". The...

Mystic Blackboard

Hello Everyone,
I was curious about this effect. It is a fairly common effect but at times, seems difficult to locate, so I gather it has been discontinued? However, there is no mention of this anywhere that I have seen. Does anyone know?

Tenyo is on line one...

Some of the Tenyo effects have names that seem to me not to fit very well. You have just been given the honor of renaming a trick. What trick would you rename and why? I would rename the Mystery Triangle, "Euclid's Deception" because you can fiddle with the trick for a long time without discovering ...

The Moons of Jupiter

Just a thought, I do not know the mechanism of the MOJ, but I wondered, could it be adapted as a teaching device? Could one modify the trick to change from a full moon to a crescent moon? If you could devise a trick that went with it say one that shows the effects of the moon on the tides. Or, adapt...

Say you never had heard of Tenyo.....

Tenyo has chosen what I find to be some curious names for it's effects What might you think? Example: Ultraslice an exceptionally large piece of cake or anything. The next step above super-size. Credit Slasher The result of not paying your bill on time and people with swords show up at your door.

Re: Those tell tale noises

I have always heard that one of the flaws with the Crystal Casket is it's noise. I have seen it on Youtube, and I think you could make the sound part of the effect. As I recall, the noise sounds like something dropping but otherwise not very revealing. When you cover the trick to perform it, have an...

A Book that acts as a magician.

Hello everyone, I recently read somewhere that a magician published a book where the book acted as the magician. Is anyone familiar with this? I wrote down the information but have since misplaced it. I also read that the book contains a version of the Sidetrack. I was considering trying to build a ...

Re: Spectacular Magic Show with table by Ideal

That is the link to the set I mentioned. I saw two or three tricks that looked better constructed than usual, The Die Box(which is to the left) and a several tubes. Of course, that they actually look like when you open the package is another story

Spectacular Magic Show with table by Ideal

This is a magic show available on Ebay. Some of the tricks pictured on the package appeared to be fairly well constructed and several perhaps worth displaying on a shelf of props. I saw two large die and some tubes etc. Anyone know of this set. So many sets now offered are shoddily constructed from ...

Re: Sutekina Trick

The version from the Netherlands appears at first glance to be adaptable as a stage illusion (this is an opinion given
without knowing how the effect is done). The other one might be adaptable for a children's story. Does anyone know if they all work on the same principle?

Sutekina Trick

Hello Everyone, I have heard there is a knock off Sutekina/Rope of Calcutta out there somewhere. I was looking for the knock off to find how it's done and to tinker with it to possibly build an improved effect. As the Tenyo version is an expensive trick, I have to settle with a knock off. If such a ...

I came across several Youtube shorts from a PRC Magic Kingdom. There are some Tenyo shorts and several other shorts. Is this a dealer or just an individual performing some effects?

Re: Tenyo's 'Scope of Magic' set

John, I think I confused the cathedral looking design with the Money Shredder as they look similar. This is why I thought it was a set. It looks interesting. It appears to be larger than the typical Tenyo effect, is it made of plastic do you know? I an unfamiliar with the prototype it's based on. Is...

John,
How about the Shrinking Pen? I only know the trick from videos, but could it be slightly reduced before placing it into the Twister then extended once removed? I imagine an interesting effect could emerge from that.
