Re: Magicians finger
The only thing that I dont like about Magician's Finger is that the cotton pad will become dirty. Other than that, I think that it is a good trick. I like the unorthodox method used to change paper to money. Here is my presentation of the trick. I place the box on the table, open the box, remove the...

Re: Steam
I can't get the link on my iPad but if you search Steam Revealed on Youtube you will learn the method. M3ntal Magic is also the same person who exposed Tenyo Clear Surprise. He has exposed several good tricks. Do not patronized his web site, just watch or download his videos.

The routine can be found in the Scrapbook video. It is the 3rd to the last trick in the video named Moving Arrow by Toru Suzuki.

Re: Tenyo: before and after Tenyoism
Hi Bret, Clean Cut is one Tenyo piece that I don't use because I don't think it can fool anyone. Mechanically it is good but the effect is not that strong. After watching the scrapbook video my my opinion about it has changed. It is an underated trick and I urge our members to buy it if they don't h...

Re: T-205 Confined Cubes
Confined Cubes is probably my best Tenyo effect. I always vanish the pink cube with James Stewart's Go Go handkerchief vanisher or Tenyo's Devil Hank. I introduce the two cubes and ask the spectator to select one. If she chooses the small cube, I cover it with the gimmicked handkerchief and have her...

Re: Tenyo: before and after Tenyoism
These are the tricks that I did not like much before Tenyoism:
Clean Cut
Illusion Truck
Krazy Keys
Amazing Jumping Arrow from Meir Yedid
There may be more but I have not yet finished the reading book nor watch all the videos. Get them while they are still affordable.

Interesting Bob. Re: I performed some tricks last night ...
WARNING: The blue puppies will soil the others. Store the puppies in 4 separate plastic bags. I tried to keep the colors separated in each compartment but still some of the puppies tranformed into Dalmatians. The Ghost Camera was the least trick that I like among the 2016 release because the handker...

Re: I performed some tricks last night ...
Speaking of doghouse, anyone know how this is done? I see what is done in the beginning but I think I am still missing something. I have not tried this but maybe there is a double sided scotch tape on the inside of the cover near the narrow edge. The tape loads the 3rd ball and steals the 1st ball.

Re: The Case of the Vanishing Mermaid
Did you try pressing the top of the cover with your thumb or finger? If you did, did the mermaid sink? Is the stripped tube moveable? Can you rotate the disks at the base? It is a scientific principle that a floating object can be made to rise and fall inside an airtight glass bottle by squeezing th...

Re: The Case of the Vanishing Mermaid
I think the effect is the same with the name of the trick. This might be the trick where hydro die was based upon. In John Scarne's book on magic tricks there is a trick where a doll moves up and down inside a bottle of water. The secret is to squeeze the glass bottle. Maybe you can apply these prin...

Re: Two confirmed hints towards the 2016 releases
Are you having trouble with the Mystery Doghouse wherein the loads are prematurely exposing themselves? It happened to me several times while playing with it. I have not performed it yet in front of an audience but if do I need to hold on to the box till the end of the routine to insure against expo...

Re: Two confirmed hints towards the 2016 releases
The Doghouse is an excellent trick. I'm going to get at least two of this trick. My guess is that it works in a manner illustrated below. The collapsible loads are hidden between the sides of the gimmick(red) and the sides of the box, like a Jap box. The red gimmick moves from side to side and is co...

Re: This one baffled me...
The first time I viewed the video Finger Houdini, I was not impressed. I agree with Simon's explanation. However, just a while ago, Japanese magician Shohei Moriyama gave a lecture at our magic club. His lecture was about the creations of Sugarawa. One of the tricks he showed us was this trick. He u...
