Re: I am Going to Share a Secret with You

I know it was mentioned earlier that the best surefire way was to purchase from online shops in Japan.

Has anyone bought a 'new' one from a magic shop in the US?

Namely, does SEO Magic stock the new version?

Re: Here's a question.

Do magicians ever get upset if their tricks are exposed online? I was able have find out how Steve Brundage did some of his Rubik's Cube tricks as well and the secrets to a few of Mat Franco's tricks and the Clairvoyants. A couple of them didn't look that hard. I'd need to practice a little, but I ...

Re: Is this trick available?

I'm no big fan of scorpions. The only way I would get one is if I knew the secret to that scorpion trick and it didn't seem too difficult. God bless, Jason Irelan Even if the scorpion trick is easy, point still stands, you have to take care of a scorpion before and afterwards. To me, that seems to ...

Re: Is this trick available?

I saw Kotkin doing another one that looked pretty good. It's where he tore some playing cards and made them penetrate each other. This was years ago when he was very young. God bless, Jason Irelan At this point, which Kotkin? Also, as stated earlier; I know you like Copperfield's material, but util...

Re: Is this trick available?

Well I won't be paying Joaquin thousands of dollars fa trick I would just want to show to people. God bless, Jason Irelan I'm not TOO big on card tricks, but I think one of the best card routines I have seen was 'Tiny Plunger'. And Tenyo made 'Magic Plunger' last year, which is almost the same thin...

Re: Is this trick available?

The guys name is 'Joaquin Kotkin'. Not his actual name, but that's what he goes by. So there's that.

Tried searching for the trick on YouTube. I don't have enough breadcrumbs for this one. I can't find it.

Re: Is this trick available?

If it's by Copperfield, I highly doubt it'd be available--legally. After a bit of reading, it sounds like you'd need to know not just the trick, but actual handling of love scorpions. Nooooooooo thank you! As for the trick itself, it sounds like it would utilize some commonly known methods...and the...

My collection...sort of

Got asked in another forum of what I had magic-wise.

Unfortunately, we are moving in the next couple months and the collection isn't the neatest it could be. But for all intents and purposes.

Re: Cutting edge

I thought China Surprise wins the worst Tenyo trick category. No? Inside Japan, China Surprise was the best seller that year. Outside of Japan? The cultural reference is lost and it loses a lot of its bite. Because it's more of a 'regional' trick, I honestly don't classify it amongst best/worst bec...

Funny you both mention the Elmsley Count because I'm trying to work in an Oil & Water routine that starts with...an Elmsley Count.

I started on it not too long ago, so it looks really bad.

What are you working on?

I know that we discuss and work with Tenyo to an untiring degree. Nothing wrong with that.

But are you working on something else in the magic world? Building a new trick? Making a routine? Working on sleights?

What are you working on at the moment?

Re: updated ENTIRE collection..short one

Dude that would be awesome if you had them. Unfortunately, I do not. I had 'Dark Stranger as a kid and didn't like it. I'd probably appreciate it more now if I could remember how the whole routine goes. I have seen all 3 on EBay at least once last year. 'Dark Stranger is most common and I see it us...

Re: updated ENTIRE collection..short one

I'd like to have an Invisible Hook and the mentalism thing with the envelope, they do come on sale sometimes. Money Morph is hard to find indeed. Hidden Sun is a must buy if you find one, very clever principle, easy to do and spectators don't know how you did it. One of the best non-Tenyo Magic Wor...

Re: T-232 Balloon Illusion

I like this one as well. Nice simple gimmick to do a really fun trick. Also one of the few Tenyo items you can do on stage. Brett, This is not really fragile at all. There's really nothing to break. It would say it is very consistent after some practice. I've popped some balloons when I first got i...

I've always had this one in the back of my mind, but haven't pulled the trigger on it. Certainly not something I can use in the hospital (unless they make non-latex long balloons), but it'd be certainly fun to use for parties and such. Questions: - Does it have any fragility issues - Is it consisten...
