Re: T-107 Crossroads

That pencil cut in half was just used for packaging purposes. They are not part of the trick. Oh, guys, I finally found crossroads to buy. Actually, I ended buying two, one of each color!! :o Are there 2 color versions? It appears that there is a white/red version and a red/white version. Unfortuna...

Re: Yet another Contest

I am willing to send Jeff my pen for the Tenyo Invisible Zone so he can offer a complete working set if he decides to cancel this contest and start a new one. I know...ask for someone to provide an accurate description of what you may look like. The one who describes you the best wins!

Actually, I can’t take the credit for it. David posted your comment at the top of this thread in the yellow quote box in his post.

Re: Yet another Contest

David already gave the answer based on what Jeff told us when he joined this forum so we know the answer. It was T-87 Squeeze Play at Epcot. By the way, when Jeff asked “What was it”, I thought he meant what was the trick. Then, after reading it again, I realized that he was asking at what location....

Re: Yet another Contest

Maybe the third place winner could correctly guess what color pucks were included with Jeff’s set.

Tenyo did red with white, white with red, and yellow pucks. Which color set did Jeff get with his? ;)

I am hoping that they do SPINNING PLATE ON ROPE. Imagine how cool it would be if both the plate AND rope were made of wood! Can’t get more deluxe than that... Or maybe SEE THROUGH CARD using transparent wood for the clear plates. But my dream elite would be PHANTOMA where the handkerchi...

Re: Yet another Contest

My guess is T-87 SQUEEZE PLAY since you asked what your first Tenyo trick was.

I actually need the Invisible Zone case because mine is stuck and I have the pen!

You can always count on Yasuo to come up with a worthwhile and unique routine for a Tenyo effect. Looks like he has done it again. What a great idea!

Ricky Jay has passed away...

It has been announced that Ricky Jay has passed away at age 70 (or 72 depending on where you hear the news) from natural causes. More details should follow in the next few days. A very talented and entertaining magician with a unique style and great gift of humor. Incredibly gifted card worker and p...

Re: Tenyo 2019

The one thing I am not thrilled about would be the wrappers included for each bar. Eventually, they will wear out and you will be using the props without them. The size of the bars are not standard so are not easily replaceable Since I don't have the trick, I'm not quite sure what you're talking ab...

Thanks for posting this comparison Victor! I agree that the Bicycle version is indeed the best of them because of the quality of the card stock, familiarity of the back design, extra included cards, and top notch instructions.

You are very welcome Victor! What a beautiful routine you created using excellent add-ons and a very well thought out presentation to a prop which some would say was in need of a tune-up.

Way to go Victor! :D

Re: T-186 Antigravity Rock

Although I have enjoyed watching various demos of this effect, I have never performed it. For me, I find it to be more convincing on the screen than in person.

It does have that realistic rock look but I don't know if I would call any rock good looking unless it came from a jewelry store. :D

Re: T-241 Illusion Truck

Hi guys, the mechanism under the truck, do you think it is a locking mechanism ? No, the mechanism does not lock. I have really liked this one since it was first released. Many have accused Tenyo of being toys and I don't see anything wrong with the toy-like nature of Tenyo props. In fact, that is ...

Re: Magic Wagon - Ultimate Mental Boxes

Technically, this isn’t a Magic Wagon release. It’s a collaboration between Magic Wagon, Viking, and Tony Curtis. It appears that it was Tony Curtis who wanted this created and with the help of Magic Wagon and Viking, it came together and each contributed to the props. The small size does make it mo...

I may be in the minority here concerning this effect but I never found it to be all that exciting. In the past, there have been many effects similar to this one and I prefer some of those to Fortune Sticks. Please don’t get me wrong! It’s not bad but not a big deal to me personally. Interesting that...

Has anyone made the voodoo doll version as shown by Tenyo? I actually like that better than the butterflies but do like the cards and butterflies provided too.

This is one of my favorite Tenyo releases from recent years.
