Re: T-127 Telesphere

I found 3 demos on YouTube and none of them have sound other than music. Perhaps that's because they were concerned about a sound issue with the props. I suggest that perhaps the sound is not an issue when performing for spectators who are not magicians. They hear something but won't necessarily be ...

Tenyo Banquet of Magic box of tricks

Has anyone purchased that yellow box which I believe translates into English as Banquet of Magic. If so, I am wondering what is included and what you think of it. I believe RK said that it contains tricks which were not made by Tenyo. I also remember someone saying that it's a rather large box. Anyt...

Re: T-127 Telesphere

So my assumption that everyone loves TELESPHERE is not accurate. Herve pointed out his concern so that is one example of an issue one may have with it. I am curious to hear other opinions as well. Evaluating an effect and it’s props is subjective I suppose. That would explain the diversity in votes...

Uh oh...it’s happening again! A wide spread of voting. This time, it’s for Telesphere though. TELESPHERE!!!

Anyone wondering if some of us are having a bit of voting fraud...I mean fun? ;)

Hmmm...

Re: 2018 tenyo

It’s great to see what you guys have created to make the props so much better! Two totally different approaches with excellent outcomes in each case.

What you are doing is adding character to somewhat dull props. The result is fantastic!

That is a good example of a seldom seen classic Tenyo and a good one indeed. Nice clean presentation Madison.

You are lucky to have one because you don’t see it available very often and somewhat expensive when it does turn up.

Re: Weekly Performance Selections

Brett, I was just thinking (oh no, not that again!), perhaps you may want to select the two tricks based on what you want to discuss or convey at that particular session. In other words, your patter would fit your message or concern and then you would determine which tricks are suitable for doing th...

Re: Weekly Performance Selections

Perhaps your next two should be the ones you are most comfortable with so you can perform them well. I would save INVISIBLE HOOK and PHANTOMA for Halloween time because of their spooky nature. ZONE INFINITY, CRASH DICE and CLEAN CUT are probably the easiest to perform so maybe two of those could be ...

Harry Anderson RIP

Harry Anderson has passed away at the age of 65.

He was best known as the judge in the TV show Night Court and for his guest appearances as Harry the Hat on Cheers.

A very talented guy and from what I heard, a really nice guy as well.

I was actually counting the chocolate +1 as the first one. It appears that I lost track of time concerning +1 releases because it seems to have come so quickly! Moving right along...time does seem to fly.

Re: Tenyo 2018 redemption trick: ‘Super Victory’

I find it very interesting that Tenyo released a second +1 trick this year. Is this the first time they did two +1’s in the same year? I can’t remember them doing that before. Eventually, your questions will be answered Brett. It appears that it’s too soon for those outside of Japan to know much abo...

Re: PresentingTenyo YouTube Channel

It is a metal plate, actually. It's made of a thin aluminium sheet. Very good idea and a good presentation. I just noticed that he mentions that in the comments section. He eliminated the clip and replaced it with that frame type item. Does anyone find that just as conspicuous as the clip if not mo...

I like the way he uses a metal looking if not actual metal blade in place of the clear plastic one provided by Tenyo. Looks more dangerous that way!

I really like the look of the props. Is everything wood with brass accents where the ribbon comes out of the boxes?

Nice romantic presentation Rob!

Re: T-013 Kings and Aces

Hi Victor! Thank you very much for the info. So Kings and Aces is not in that green box set. Still sounds worthwhile especially at the low price it goes for and nice to have Arabian Cards! Should be fun playing around with the contents of these two box sets. I am hoping that both the illustrations i...

Re: T-013 Kings and Aces

Thanks John for combining everything here so everyone can see all of the Kings and Aces posts in one place. I have seen only one other demo for this trick and the handling is a bit different. The one seen here has red back cards so is a newer release of this trick. It may be the one in the box set I...

Re: Tenyo T-13 Kings and Aces

I just looked it up in the big book and discovered that it was never released as a separate trick in Japan. Also, that Fantasio got the exclusive rights to sell it in the US. Nintendo is printed on the ace of spades in both the Fantasio US version and a Japanese version which came with Diminishing C...

I thought it may be interesting to revive this posting and see what I (we) could learn about this card packet trick. I used to keep in touch with Fantasio from time to time but never thought to ask him about this effect and his involvement. I wish I had... Here is what I do know about Kings and Aces...

For a good time, go to the 3D Magic Works site, view and read about the two versions of their latest masterpiece CARD PUNCH, watch the demos, and place your order!

One uses a metal ball and the other a casino die. Both are spectacular! Order both and save $!! :D

Re: Most Deceptive Penetration effect!

IMHO, anything Kent releases is worth having. it's great to see so much interest in this particular item but no matter what it is, it's going to be great! Kent's track record demonstrates that. I know I will order it because I would order anything Kent comes up with. I haven't been disappointed yet....
