Re: MB Magic Works Electronic Talking Toys discussion

All of his creations are so creative and amazing. I forget, isn't he also responsible for introducing Lubor Fiedler to Tenyo? As far as the Electronic Magic Works I really like all of them but Spirit in the Coffin is really my favorite. You can let the spectator play with it all day and they'd never...

Re: Cutting edge

The demo does make the trick better but I still don't like Money Cutter. It's definitely one of my worst tricks.
Though, according to Richard in Tenyosim, if you use a 1000 yen bill you can open the case and show the blade has pierced the bill. I'd like to see a demo of the trick performed that way.

Re: Cutting edge

Pmd you with a source.
I'm not sure why this would be considered the worst.
I like it much better than Money Cutter.
Sure it's a funny looking contraption but it's a pretty unique effect and not something your spectators would likely have seen before.

Haven't look at it for a while but I seem to recall the instructions specifying how much to blow up the balloons.
I don't they wanted it fully inflated.

Re: updated ENTIRE collection..short one

Invisible Hook is one of my favorites to perform. It drives people crazy when they can't figure out how to do it. I would assume the rope would have to have the right thickness to work correctly. I have two of them that came with two different ropes. One of them came with the leather rope i see in m...

Re: T-232 Balloon Illusion

I like this one as well. Nice simple gimmick to do a really fun trick. Also one of the few Tenyo items you can do on stage. Brett, This is not really fragile at all. There's really nothing to break. It would say it is very consistent after some practice. I've popped some balloons when I first got it...

Re: What's everyone's favorite Tenyo trick?

I think they might have been able to eek out a Series 5. But the most viable Tenyo options would be, Super Phanto Block, Cubio/SuperCubio, Ultra Tube, Tunnel of Darkness Richard mentions in Tenyoism that they did license phanto block for series 5 and it was going to he called "The Cyborg's Brain". ...

Re: Has Anyone Seen One of These Before?

I've only seen pictures of it. One of which I put in my big list of Disney Tenyo.
These Disneyland tricks are not too easy to find once they stopped making them.
I think I have the version in the video though.

I found the pictures on this page:

Re: Disney Magic

Not really sure which are my favorites. Most of the Disney items are simply based on older tricks but having Disney characters on them always makes them better (at least when peforming for kids). Offhand I would say the Ghost Lamp trick is really nice (the method is different than the T-numbered one...

I guess this is the other version: http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h205588793 Another set that caught my eye is this Astro Boy Science Set: ht...

Re: Disney Magic

Dynamic Coins is still available in at least one version and is also sold in the "Magical 3" sets. I'd love to get a Mirror mate as well but they seem to be very much in demand. Every one I've seen has sold for for a quite a lot of $$$. I'd also like to get a dancing cane or 2. Those are probably st...

Re: Disney Magic

They used to sell the regular non-Disney Tenyo items at Disneyworld in Florida way back when (Maybe the 70s?) Too bad that is long gone. Anyway Victor enjoy your vacation. Sounds like lots of fun. But you should separate your list into general Disney magic tricks sold in Japan, and those only made f...

Disney Magic

So does anyone here collect Disney Magic? I picked up some pieces here and there and it got me curious as to how many Disney tricks Tenyo produced. Since there doesn't seem to be any resource listing all of Tenyo's Disney tricks, I decided to try and make a list myself. I basically documented every ...

The coin stand from Space Walking Coins is included but not the plastic holder used to reproduce the coins.
It uses another method to reproduce the coins involving the coin tray and a paper sack.

Re: Tenyo - Mickey`s Magic Shop

Tenyo actually did sell a puzzle like that a while back in Tokyo Disneyland. You open the box and take out the puzzle only to discover it is missing pieces. 1102160115.jpg 1102160116a.jpg Thankfully it is a Tenyo puzzle so all you have to do is put the puzzle back in the box and give it a shake. The...

Basically the cards are divided into four and given to 3 spectators and the magician. Everyone mixes up there cards according to the magicians instructions. When the top cards are turned over they form message that relates to the occasion being performed at. (Happy Birthday, Wedding, etc.). Most Jap...
