Re: Tenyo 2020
The sword looking thing is like a matchbox penetration effect but uses mini cards.

Re: Tenyo 2020
Oh, and I also heard that there may be an improved version of CROSSROADS!!!
And a card trick or two as well...
So, five new tricks and maybe two or three really good ones.

Re: Tenyo 2020
From what I understand, there will be a mini Gravity Box which is the size of a card box. The spectator cannot lift it.
That could be the mini cards and black box Victor has mentioned.

Re: Huitzilopochtli by Thomas Pohle
Thanks for sharing that Olaf! So, here are my thoughts on it... 1- He exposed the method the first time he did it. What a shame! 2- He took way too long to do the entire performance. Yawn... 3- Paddle changes interesting addition to the effect. 4- Politically motivated which is both clever and humor...

Re: Huitzilopochtli by Thomas Pohle
I don’t own it but hopefully soon. There is something about it that I really like! For $250 and up, I wouldn’t be interested. For less than $200, I would. I don’t collect TP pieces but he has a few that appeal to me. If I can find them at a nice price, I would want them. Thanks for your feedback Joh...

Re: Huitzilopochtli by Thomas Pohle
Now THAT is a cool set of props! Uses clever humor and wild imagination. Looks like a hip Huitzilopochtli. So anyway...anyone else want to criticize Huitzilopochtli? 😂 I am trying my best to no longer buy any magic. It’s time to just say no! Just enjoy what I already have and that’s it. Unless I see...

Here is a demo of Huitzilopochtli.

Am I the only one who finds the effect convincing?

Re: Huitzilopochtli by Thomas Pohle
I am pretty sure that it’s a Thomas Pohle release. He has done several props using the black and yellow design.
It’s the geometric design which makes it deceptive I suppose.

Re: Huitzilopochtli by Thomas Pohle
Thank you for your feedback Olaf.
It is unfortunate that such nice looking and clever props are so delicate.
He has produced many different items over the years so perhaps the quality varies.
Anyone own his Three Block Monte? If so, what is your opinion of it?

Re: Huitzilopochtli by Thomas Pohle
I have seen a demo of Huitzilopochtli and found it to be very convincing. Different strokes for different folks I suppose. ;) Although I like the look and design of many Thomas Pohle creations, I am not thrilled with the construction of at least some of his pieces. Several years back, I bought a Tho...

Huitzilopochtli by Thomas Pohle
Does anyone own Huitzilopochtli by Thomas Pohle? If you do, is it true that it requires magnets to make the attachment of the arms more secure. I heard that it is not necessary but helpful. It’s a very attractive prop and convincing effect! Just wondering about the construction. If you own it, pleas...

Thanks for putting that up Elliot!
The first phase seemed brief and not that impressive but the second phase looked great.

With shipping, the total should have been $119.99, not $116. I wonder if that is the issue.

I agree with you David! Interesting to see a variety of opinion but that is to be expected depending on what each of us like in a prop/effect. The variety of uses for Sword Reward I have seen so far is consistent with my initial theory that it will be a versatile prop and I personally like that. Nic...

Re: Hello from the Netherlands
Welcome to this place Martin. I hope you find it to be a rewarding experience! I have a Tenyo Trisector which is need of a repair. Perhaps I should touch base with John to explain what needs to be done. Everything is there and I suppose that the repair would not be very difficult to accomplish. If I...

First, I would like to thank all three of you for responding.
Second, I suppose that at least for right now, my list matches that of Rob.
Third, if anyone else would like to add their 2019 ranking list here, that would be great!

Re: Tenyo +1 ('special') effect 2019
It appears that they have fallen into a pattern of doing card packet tricks and that’s okay. They seem to select things that are popular either traditionally or currently. The Rubik Cube has seen a comeback for a while now so not a bad idea.
