Two of the 2018 Tenyo tricks are available for pre-order at Amiami.com as well as two new effects in the Mental magic line. I assume the others will follow soon.

Seo Magic Japan has put up videos of the Pokemon and Doraemon tricks as well as the two new Mickey tricks.
I guess the Dory ones have been done before so many times with other characters.

Seo has put up a couple of videos of the new doremaon tricks:

The simplified version comes with only two keys and you cannot do the last part of the routine in which notches appear on both sides of the key.

The Chinese copy of it is also green and yellow and looks almost the same as the Tenyo version. So if it doesn't say Tenyo on it, it is probably the cheap copy.

This is one of my favorite of the more recent tricks. I like the fact that what happens is completely unexpected and a complete surprise to the spectator. I also thought the handling was a bit awkward but when I tried on people it worked fine. Once the gimmick is out of the way everything is handed ...

Don't think I'll be buying any of them though except the magic poster which looks interesting.

Welcome! I always check your blog for the latest Tenyo news. You have some interesting articles and great pictures. I especially like when you compare many versions of the same trick. I do wish it was in English though

There are still a few left on Amazon Japan but it looks like only 2 of them can be shipped internationally. I think I also found one on Rakuten Global if that helps.

I ended up getting the first 2 Doraemon tricks. They were pretty cute tricks and nicely made. Maybe I'll pick up these as well.

Tenyo posted on their face book page that this year's special will be "Magical Chocolate".
They sure seem to like food related tricks for the specials.
Anyone have any more info?

It's a clever mechinism and it's fun to play with. The only thing I don't like about it is the noise. There is a big "clunk" when the magic happens and everyone i've tried this on wants to know what that big noise was. And of course it can't be examined.

Unfortunetly I don't own the item. Just found a picture of it online with no real description.

They usually debut the new tricks at the Tokyo Toy Show which starts June 1st this year. At that point more info usually leaks out.
Before that though is the 2017 +1 special which I'm assuming should come out within the next couple of weeks or so.

I really like them all. I would say the one I do the most is Invisible Hook. It is basically your standard prayer vase in a different shape but it locks. So although it looks real simple every time I do it, spectators can try all day and not figure it out. Drives them bonkers. :) I would agree with ...
