Re: Mini Sword Box Illusion Model 3D printed

What a beautiful looking piece.
I picture a martini glass with a 3D printed olive that is placed in the box and escapes unharmed from all the cocktail swords. 😁

Re: Tenyo Ads

Ah, the 80s and 90s. So much creativity and so many great effects were released during those two decades.
This is the type of magical thinking the excites and inspires me.

Re: Samurai Sword Penetration

I had purchased this affect when it first came available. The props were very nicely made but I found handling too awkward for public performance so I ended up selling it.

Re: New additions to my collection

The effect is called “Perfect Migration” / Perfekte Wanderung I remember reading about this trick and thinking it sounded too good to be true Magiro’s magical thinking and design of his effects is nothing short of genius I agree, this is a very good example of his genius in developing great tricks ...

Andy Martin released a speed demo of this exact trick yesterday. What a coincidence.

Thanks for the link. I wonder if he just acquired this trick?

Re: New additions to my collection

While vacationing in Asheville, North Carolina, I visited Magic Central, one of the few brick and mortar magic stores, run by Ricky Boone (a super nice guy). Despite his disabilities, he has done quite well for himself in his magic career. The store is small and though there isn’t much displayed on ...

Re: New additions to my collection

Magiro is another magic creator whose work I admire very much. I can’t believe I was able to get my hands on this piece…and in mint condition I might add. The effect is called “Perfect Migration” (Perfekte Wanderung). I remember reading about this trick and thinking it sounded too good to be true. T...

Re: New additions to my collection

Luck has been on my side the past few week because a couple of rare items have made their way into my collection. The first is a beautiful piece from Kent Bergmann’s zebra wood collection. The effect is called Psy-Spy (It Knows). Kent’s craftsmanship on this piece is superb! This is a Mentalism effe...

Re: Mystic Mirror - Magic Wagon

The cost standpoint of hosting and maintaining a website is understandable and something I hadn’t considered. :-/ I’m sure this is why video demonstrations are not possible as well. Magic Wagon obviously has a very loyal following where these issues are of no concern. As I mentioned in my earlier po...

Re: Mystic Mirror - Magic Wagon

Interesting... Out of curiosity, how having "no high-resolution images" could be part of Magic Wagon's selling strategy? :?: I’ve heard others complain about the low res images on the web site. And, that their site is really in need of an update. Since I don’t collect MW effects, it doesn’t matter ...

Re: Mystic Mirror - Magic Wagon

I too don’t own any Magic Wagon effects, and it concerns me that I’m unable to see the effect performed before having to make a snap decision to spend that amount of money on it before it sells out. I feel the same way. I can’t help but wonder if the lack of video performances as well as no high re...

Re: Mystic Mirror - Magic Wagon

I am not a big fan of MW and currently don’t have any of their items in my collection. This trick, however, is one of the first I am actually interested in. I suspect this release will have a price tag in the $300 - $400 which is out of my price range. Since I no longer perform and simply collect, I...

Re: New additions to my collection

So the Lackner version has fewer chips? I think that's actually an advantage, as it becomes borderline tedious with as many as in that 3D-printed version. Is there a video of the original version from Liebenow? And does this new 3D-printed version differ in how it works compared to MW Mini Phantom ...

Re: New additions to my collection

Back on August 10th, in the Magic Creators \ 3D Printed Magic Props section of the forum, Olaf S had posted an image of a 3D printed version of Mini Phantom that Magic Wagon had released some time ago. I had never seen the trick before so I went online and after viewing a video performance of the ef...

Does anyone on here remember the name of a Tricks Co Japan item that was similar to Tenyo's Invisible Zone, except you put your finger through it?
I collect Tricks Co. Japan magic but I don’t believe I’ve seen this one. I hope someone who has responds because now I’m curious.

I like the slightly larger size of your build.
I can’t wait to see your final product.

Here is a link to a performance that sold me on the trick.

Placing the sword through both tubes at the beginning is a nice touch.
