Re: Midas Machine

Thanks, Brother! Obviously, the cheapest route is to stick it in an envelope and mail it like a letter. Particularly cheap if you live in the US (or UK, given the exchange rate). I can also get an airmail envelope and shouldn't cost much internationally, either. Not in any hurry to unload these, but...

Re: Midas Machine

Hi everyone! This post reminded me to unpack and play around with my Midas Machine. As luck would have it... I did not think to tuck away an old, small-faced $10 bill, so I set out on a quest to find one. Easier said than done. I asked every bank and retail location I came in contact with for the la...

None of the four files have pictures. I guess we can refer back to the original instruction sheets and follow along from there.

Re: It Tenyo but technically Japanese :)

Believe it or not... I still have my old Atari 2600 (with lots o' game cartridges) from when I was a kid. That'll have to hold me over until they stock a few more NES minis in my neck of the woods.

These are completely sold out here at the moment. Not sure if it's the same nation-wide, but certainly in the Seattle area.

I agree! I may possibly prefer the Crazy Maze version, but both look great (as does the box). You can count me in when you start to produce them. I am excitedly awaiting a package (due tomorrow!) containing the first 8 items of the 2017 series. This will be a great weekend! I have John Lovick in tow...

Nice work, Herve! I really need to do something like this, and... SOON! My wife rolls her eyes at me every time she enters my home office, as the boxes continue to pile up.

Re: Fred Sharp Act Knife Sharpener :Updated Links Fixed

I bought a couple of these a few years ago. A really fun novelty item, but don't count on them doing much to sharpen your knives. They do, however, do a great job of dulling them. :)

I agree with David. I like mine so much that I purchased a second one as a backup, just in case. Beautifully made, and frankly it's so sturdy that I will probably never have to break out the second one.

Re: LOST POSTS ON THIS FORUM

Well... that explains some of the PMs that are missing, as well. I migrated the IBM ring site and lecture site I manage a few years ago, and while the damage in migration wasn't significant it did leave me curious as to how something that should be a core competency of the hosting service can go so ...

Okay... curiosity appropriately piqued, so I just ordered another from Hitomi. Here's hoping that the difference(s) will be obvious. Thanks for the "heads up," Richard! Okay... now that I have it, I can't find any difference between the two. Either the change is imperceptibly subtle, or Hitomi sent...
