I suppose you'd consider Card Surgery a card trick even though you're restoring a card instead of revealing what card a spectator chose by either free will or force.

I like the way you say I'm not permitted to reveal the secret when asked how I do a trick when asked how. If someone wants to become a magician, it does take work.
