Re: Is this trick available?

I don't have a problem with eye/hand coordination when it comes to Squeeze Play. I've done it for several people and fooled them.

Re: Is this trick available?

Because everyone I know that lives around me wouldn't know how the trick is done, and I don't want to make them suspicious by asking for help.

Re: Is this trick available?

Well as I said before, the parts are possible to make. I'll get my own coasters. I just need help with the cup. The magic store I bought it from is one that a lot of people here are probably familiar with if they live anywhere near Janesville. It's Conjuror's Corner run by Terry Brown. God bless, Ja...

Re: Is this trick available?

I was actually hoping someone would make what I needed with my suggestions. I don't have good eye hand coordination and would have a hard time putting masking tape around the mouth of a plastic cup. When I bought Squeeze Play years ago from a magic store, it was between 10 and 15 dollars. They didn'...

Re: This one baffled me...

Does Squeeze Away Block work with the same principle that Squeeze Play does? If not, how much would it cost? Also of all the tricks that people have added to the this one baffled me post, which one is the cheapest. I get baffled by a lot of them, which makes me want them.

Re: Is this trick available?

I thought about getting another Squeeze Play, but the price was way too high, and I was wondering if it'd be possible to make the parts I need. All I need is the two discs, which could be coasters and a cup. If someone could put masking tape around the mouth of the cup so that nobody could see what'...

Re: Is this trick available?

I thought I made a post about my problem with a video; but apparently, it didn't make. My system I use to record shows on DVR is hooked up to an analog TV; and if I try to unhook it and plug in the DVD player, I have problems trying to hook up the system I use to watch TV digitally. Therefore, if so...

Re: Is this trick available?

Well I tried the link and was disappointed because it linked to the book itself that teaches it instead of a video, and I was confused by the directions. Is there anyone here who feels confident enough to make a YouTube video of themselves showing how to do it? I realized I don't have to ruin perfec...

Re: Is this trick available?

I'm no big fan of scorpions. The only way I would get one is if I knew the secret to that scorpion trick and it didn't seem too difficult.

Re: Is this trick available?

That's neat that it's on an online video for free. If only the scorpion trick was taught online. As far as being a copycat goes, a lot of magicians do tricks that other magicians do. There are lots of magicians that float.

Re: Is this trick available?

There are plenty of ways to find a spectator's card- I would start by thinking of a unique presentation/method to do this that is reflective of your presentation style and personality. Anything less, is just going to be a poor imitation of a well-accomplished and world famous magician's performance...

Re: Is this trick available?

Reminds me of something a guy in a magic store used to say to people who might be interested in a trick that required practice and lots of it. Practice, perfect, self-denial.

Re: Is this trick available?

It's in that magic book "New Stars of Magic." Does the book have good picture illustrations and easy to follow instructions? Also, is the trick that David did in that video easy? Or does it require difficult sleight of hand moves? I know how his trick works where he shows a piece of paper and change...

Re: Is this trick available?

I saw Kotkin doing another one that looked pretty good. It's where he tore some playing cards and made them penetrate each other. This was years ago when he was very young.

Re: Is this trick available?

I wasn't trying to be rude. I was saying I would like the scorpion trick if the price of the trick itself isn't too high. When I get told that it's not a good trick by someone, they can feel that way all they want; but I'd prefer to decide for myself whether a trick is good or not. I grew up watchin...

Re: Is this trick available?

I couldn't find any. I suppose your best bet would be to go see him if he comes to your home city to perform. He'd probably do it again. I read that a Mexican magician sold it to him. It would be nice if I knew who that Mexican magician was.

Re: Is this trick available?

Not all scorpions have dangerous bites. A bark scorpion is about the most dangerous one. I'd only want one if I knew how to do the trick; and if it dies, which most pets do within an owner's lifetime, I'd just go to the pet store and get another one.

Is this trick available?

I've seen David Kotkin do this trick where he has a spectator choose a card, and then a scorpion finds the card. I noticed in both cases, he told the spectator to pick up the scorpion; and when she finally went to do it, he told her not to and says something about lawsuit. I'm talking about Copperfi...
