Re: Best way to open a Blister Package
Once an item is opened (especially the ones that still are for sale now and than in mint condition), even if it is done extremely carefull and almost not detectable, it looses a significant amount of its value. Of course for yourself it is better to have a nice looking opened package which you can d...

Re: Are you investing or collecting for fun?
When I first started collecting Tenyo several years ago (I had a few Tenyo items without realizing it like Credit Slasher, my first one) I wasn't aware of the value of these items (I threw away all the packages for example). I knew they were often hard to find but thosedays when one popped up on Eba...

Re: My favorite non-tenyo magic manufacturers
John, a litle surprise for you, I bought my Magiro Wand and Block Mystery and Coin And Bolt here: http://www.cannon-secrets.de/menu.html - e-mail the seller, you'll probably have one in a few weeks ;) As you can see he also sells other Magiro recreations. I also ordered the new Diceolation by MW fro...

Tenyo in the Movies
Great work guys!
Does anyone know in very rare occasions Tenyo tricks WERE performed in movies? Look at 0:38:45 here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BvHG2q6PJk. Tell me what trick the boy performs

Re: My favorite non-tenyo magic manufacturers
Those are indeed great manufacturers John. I own quite a few Magic Wagon pieces (started collecting a year and a half ago or so) and most of them are great. However, not every item they put out is a winner, trust me. I own Dave Powell's Enchanted Ring (a must have for every magic collector) and have...

Re: Turn Your Tenyo Collection into Oil
You're right, as a collector of Alan Warner and Magic Wagon I can't make oil out of them ... but they would make great kindling wood for the BBQ or Woodstove

Re: What stage of Tenyoitis are you at?
I'm at stage 5, but the last couple of items aren't really something I MUST have ... I'm happy with my collection as it is. Most of the items on the list of items I don't have are remade by other manufacturers. I wrote something about it on my website some time ago: http://www.tenyo.be/collection.ht...

Re: Fortune Sticks
Great ideas. I'm copying this from the old forum as it might be of some interest to some. Jenzo (SimonC) has created wooden fortune sticks and I asked him how he made the gimmick more visible. This was his answer: The idea is that by using wood, the sticks create their own gimmick, and are therefore...

Ideas for Tenyo contest
I have two suggestions for a 'serious' competition with a 'prize' ... not sure what it will be yet ;) •Make a Tenyo more professional, add something personal, make it better. You can use an excisting Tenyo prop. John Mazza already did this in the past with his 'add-ons': - an improved version of Sof...

David DG aka Killertweety
(this is a copy from the previous forum) Hello everyone! Magic has always fascinated me and I have been 'really' collect...
