Does anyone have both a 3D Scanner and Printer? I need a small plastic sword copied.....

It appears on Wikipedia that Tenyo is a subsidiary of the Toyota Group???

Still need to drill holes through the centres of the hinged plates and get me a dull darning needle ...

Unfortunately not silk but more a cotton bandanna fabric....wish it was a silk!!!!

I believe it is from 1977....and a good deal too....got it for 275 usd

The balloon effect is nice but what I really like is the coin/envelope tray.....can't find it anywhere else but this set....

I was out performing shows today....breakfast with Santa!

Came home and found he delivered this little beauty to me!

One of the challenges in making this was getting the flap tension correct. As per the instructions I used dental dam. Stretching and gluing it in place proved challenging and the work of someone who had eight hands would have been easier!

yes they were.....took me about three weeks to work on them a bit at a time....had to start over a few times....

The original was made from beer mats.....I followed that premise.....

i used the directions from tenyoism as faithfully as i could.....it was hard to make out all the artwork but i think i got it pretty close....
i keep musing about making a second one.....it was a pain in the keister and incredibly time consuming....maybe at some point

Faithfully recreated from the two pictures in Tenyoism.....I submit for your consideration a working reproduction of the impossible to find T44 Coin Coaster....

Pavel detailed the making of it in many of his lecture notes BEFORE it was licensed by Tenyo.....

And now.....with the advent of those mylar manipulation CDs there is no reason why an actual plastic version could not be made!

Cardboard????

CDs are more or less already obsolete......

Anybody own this?
If so....thoughts?
