Hello everyone, I posted this in the member section, but it may be nice to start a thread here.

I decided to make a tenyo YouTube channel. To see what the channel will be about click this link:

Madison, this video is how magic should be. A story, with a magic prop as a part of that story!
I enjoyed it! And look forward to your next videos!

Well thanks Roberto! I'm glad you enjoyed it and thought it was a good length. The lengths will vary, of course, but perhaps before long I can find what length people like best and stick with that ;)

Thanks again, Roberto (Aka The Pioneer of YouTube Tenyo)

Madison,

NICE!

You have me thinking about the original story.
Geppeto wanted Pinocchio to come to LIEf, and become a real boy.

You have me thinking about working in lines like:
"He lied about his lies"
AND
"He even lied about telling the truth about his lies."

So ... his lying brought about the strange phenomena known as inadvertent, uncontrollable "nosegrowth."

Yes, it was only a picture, but it served as a cruel reminder of the consequence of Pinocchio's untruths.

ANYWAYS,
Very cool, and I'm sure that your presentation has us thinking!

That's a helluva great presentation you got there. I've never looked at Animation Frame until I saw your video. I think the only reason you got a biting flak on the 'Cafe is because we couldn't see your face and the nuances. All we could see were hands.
Which i figured was because you're filming by yourself and you can't really pan your shots out. Include your face, the prop is microscopic. Close up of prop, can't see your face.

You made the right call. And the intro was perfect.

Keep on going. Take your one on the next one. Hell, I'd be more than glad to wait another week or longer for the next installment of that's the sort of thing you produce

I appreciate the kind words Brett! I'm glad the video made you rethink the simple prop a little.

You are correct, currently I am filming alone so I don't have the option for panning or zooming. Sadly that means I can't show my face and the prop. For now, it will have to be a focus on the prop. In the future, there may be some videos that show my face, but for now, this will have to do haha.

I already filmed quite a number of videos. Once I get to filming again, I will take your comments into consideration and hopefully find something that works.

Thanks everyone for the comments! I appreciate them!

Since its the first week, I have decided to put up three Tenyo videos to get things started. One Monday, on today, and one Friday.

After that it will probably become a weekly/biweekly thing. M

Here's today's video: Tower of Dice!

As great as it is seeing the videos of Tenyo on YouTube. It's great to see them being done to actual routines. Very different! You've sort of lit a fire under my arse to getting my 'Magician's Clock' routine 'in gear' so to speak.

And your routines are done well! Again, excellent job! And it looks like they are very easy for you to make, how long did it take you to make these routines?

I am curious though, are there any Tenyo that seem tough for you to make? Are there any Tenyo that you don't have that you already have a rotune in mind?

I'm glad to hear that, Brett!

So far, the routines were all ones I've thought of between 10 and 30 minutes. But there are some that I'm sure will take a little longer than others.

So far, I'm focusing on the ones I have so there's aren't any yet!

That's pretty dang quick for routine making! It took me a couple weeks to figure out the logistics for a public presentation for Ghost Card. And I'm now in month 2 for 'Magician's Clock'.

I'm sure some will take me quite some time!

Here's the next video in the series (really less about the presentation, more about the performance in general)

Another fine presentation.
I haven't seen this one done before.
If done without talking might have been confusing and boring.
Good job looking forward to the next one.

I was excited to perform it since I hadn't found a video of it! I think it's very interesting.
