T-76 Water Mystery

Post by VictorS » Fri Oct 04, 2019 8:44 pm

Good day everyone,

today I would like to introduce you my son, Wayne :) This is our first collaboration on doing magic in Youtube. We performed one of the clever Tenyo invented by genius mind Shigeru Sugawara in 1976. The trick called Water Mystery. In this performance, we used ordinary cups and not the original cups supplied in the original prop to keep the original prop in good condition, however we used the original invisible gimmick to perform the trick.

This trick is rarely performed because it is very rare prop to be found nowadays and it requires little bit of practice. However, we were so glad to finish this short video project with just only in ONE take !

We hope you enjoy our performance. Thank you !

Love,
Victor & Wayne

Great and fun video Victor! And your son seems to feel very comfortable in front of the camera :) His presence adds a LOT to this effect!

I must admit that I didn’t know anything about this effect, because in general I’m not so interested in tricks with water.

Furthermore, I still don’t know if I fully understand this effect ... Did I see water going THROUGH the pencil ????

All in all a very entertaining video! Keep them coming Victor!

Haha...first of all thank you Rob.
There are 2 effects on this trick:

First the water penetrate mysteriously into the cup although the bottom of the cup is still solid.

Second, the bottom of the cup full with water is stabbed by a pencil until the pencil went through fully the bottom but the water stays inside the cup although there is hole at the bottom.of the cup

I suggest you take 2 paper cups and do as I do. Of course you cannot get the same effect without knowing the secret. :)

That was really nice. The Wayne & Victor Show.

Wayne is a natural and gets top billing cause he said so. 8-)

Never seen this 2 in 1 effect was fun and entertaining.
Only water trick I had was Chinese Water Suspension was a favorite when I was a kid.

Maybe Victor will be Wayne's assistant in a future video. :D
Always a pleasure to watch your videos. Popcorn

Thanks Wayne & Victor!

Excellent as always. How old is Wayne? Little Benjamin is 3 and I'd love to make videos like you do with your children :)

Hi David, thank you. Wayne just turned to 9 last September. Yes I think we should involve our kids more often to build their interest and to create beautiful moments :)
