That box is a copy of a copy.

The original box shown earlier in this thread started as a Eddy's Box. The story about Eddy's is that they were a distributor of Tenyo out of Honk Kong. They sold tricks manufactured by Tenyo in their own Eddy's boxes.

The box above is the Eddy's box with the Eddy's marks removed. For sure anything in that version of the box was a bootleg.

The Asian writing may be Chinese and not Japanese since Eddy's was out of Hong Kong. Peter G's wife may be able to tell us if that is Japanese type or not.

Ok no problem. Thanks for clearing that up.

The Eddy's magic site I linked to above is in Chinese (according to Google translate) so I assume the text on the packaging is also Chinese. That's may be why they wanted to repackage it in the first place.
