yep! that magic maze, if it works just as shown in the video (as in all free choices by speccy) is awesome! I have one idea how it might work... I think there are actually 5 cards and you always leave one in the envelope. The one you leave in could be denote where the 'destination' would end up being.but that only works out HALF of the problem because they choose the START TOO!!!
On the rolly black puck, I think the use of clear props is sneakily brilliant, the performer will be able to see the pen mark through the side of the acrylic even though it is covered on top.
i like all of this years tricks, the water one I'm not sure how I'd use yet but its a cool idea

With the lottery trick the spectator has complete free choice over where to put the red/blue chips. The spectator chooses the order and orientation of the cards and he can turn them over too however he likes.

That makes me change my opinion, I love it now!

Magician's Word Cards is a very problematic trick to put on video. Putting this on a couple of Youtube videos will completely give away the trick.

Dream Psychometry is the same effect, but at least one of the drawings (the computer) has been updated.

"Magician's Flash Cards" is a great trick ... very clever two-phase mindreading routine.

That second video of the black puck trick has such a long and drawn out presentation that I don't care for it. It's too long.

And I will add that Simon is a very clever boy.

I`m quite curious what is the content of the Tenyo Akira Fuji`s Series for the card and coin magic (from previous and current year). Do we receive special deck, card or coin gaff or everything just pure sleight of hand and self working tricks ?

This year is a bit of a quirky bunch. None of the tricks really jump out at me. I will end up getting 'Legendary Puzzle' as that looks to be the neatest of the bunch.

I am pondering in getting the lottery track and making a jumbo version of it. A jumbo version looks like it would be fun for a show.

But I would need the smaller version to know what to do.

I can see a larger version of the lottery working well. Then you can use a $100 bill instead of the coin. You can also ask a 4 spectators to each pick one number giving them all a chance to win the $100.

I was thinking of using the lottery trick sort of in reverse. I was thinking of putting 5 mini cards next to each letter on the right. Then ask the spectator to pick one number on the left. Amazingly following the maze from the chosen number leads to the spectators chosen card.

That way I can ask a spectator to select a card and ask them how they would like me to find it. Should I use a magic maze, psychic hockey puck, or bowl of water?

The name of the trick is "Magic Maze." It has nothing to do with a lottery.

Simon, you can see how the black puck starts, stops, hesitates, and then goes on. I think a spiral would detract from that. In addition, because the puck moves slowly, you wouldn't get the illusion of the spiral.

VictorS: this is the third Akira Fujii item. So far they have all taught fairly simple tricks that magicians already know. The deck in the first released was a normal Bicycle deck (while common here, they are less common in Japan) and the second released had an "ordinary" jumbo coin. Not sure about the new release.

Am I the only one that is noticing sudden image problems. Great example is the above post by Victor with 3 spiral images. I only see a spiral in the middle image but the top one is the cardboard mummy thing Martingo is working on and the bottom image is of a Bacardi 151 Rum Bottle. Very strange what do you see? I sent screen shot of this to John for him to see and when I looked at the message sent it is a Pink Party Party Magic image I don't even have! Great magic trick I am the only one that see's it.
