Richard, will the English instructions available for all 14 (excluded the Akira`s DVD I assume) and is the translation process by Mr. Cohen already ongoing ?

I am not certain what will be released outside Japan other than the four T-numbered items and the four mentalism items.

Gaz, these are the four mentalism tricks. Like most mentalism, they use less props. This has nothing to do with being "cheap."

Bottom left we all know. I'm a little disappointed they didn't use my voodoo puzzle submissionif they ended up doing an impossible puzzle. I bet the method of hiding the extra piece is nice and tenyoesque.
Bottom right. This looks interesting and more classic tie up. Is reminiscent of fadeaway case and blue crystal. I'll be interested to see the routine in the video.

Thanks for posting the pics richard, they have some interesting stuff this year, can't wait to se the performances, -'d find out what the heck the top right one is!!!

The Tenyo Super Mental Magic Series looks interesting.
I, for one, will be hoping to purchase these along with the regular 2017 T-Number effects.

I have always been interested in the likes of:
Charles Foster, Alexander, Dunninger, Annemann, Nelson, Hull, Corinda, Max Maven, Al Mann, Al Koran, Al Baker, David Berglas, Banachek, Bob Cassidy, Bruce Bernstein, Barrie Richadson, Derin Brown, and lately Peter Turner. There are so many others like Bascom Jones of Magick, T. Waters, Richard Osterlind, Jay Sankey, Patrick Redford, Marc Salem, and many many others.

Thanks for the update Richard! We now have 9 tricks. What will the other 6 (probably Japan only) be? I know this has already been discussed but perhaps you have more info about them/pictures of the packaging?

Top left is So Sato's trick. I hear it's superb. Can't quite figure out what happens yet.

Top right is a small circular black "puck" that will roll on the table and stop at a selected item. It rolls by itself and has a weird movement. Also hear that it's very good. This was devised by the new member of the Creative Division.

Bottom left is Tenyo's version of the Winston Freer puzzle. The pieces are translucent, which means you can see through them. Those of you that know the puzzle should find that interesting.

Bottom right is something created by a non-Tenyo magician. It has nothing to do with that 3D material Lubor discovered (sorry, Simon). The way the trick works is something you likely know, but in different form.

The ESP deck has a unique back design which was used by Tenyo before on X-Ray Vision Tester.

There are six more tricks coming out: the four Party Party Magic items, and two Doraemon items. I believe they will be sold over here, but won't come out until a few months later.

I noticed they changed the back design on the ESP deck since the previous pictures. It looked like the x-ray vision tester backs but I wasn't sure.
I'm curious to see how that would work with an ESP deck because with x-ray tester you were only able to tell black from red.

BTW the Presto Blog has a nice write up of the festival with a quick first impression of the new tricks. He'll probably have a more detailed review at some point pretty soon.

Yeah I suppose if you just use one indicator you can put it in 5 places. Wonder why they decided to go with that over the more traditional markings. I guess it does make it somewhat different.

From the translation it sounds like the spectator has full control over the order and orientation of the cards.
In which case I'm not really sure how this would work.

My friend in Japan demonstrated all four tricks for me via Skype. All pretty amazing stuff.

Well here's one video. It's not the standard performance but at least it's something.
