Enjoys all the tricks Rob ;) I think it is worth to take magic maze into your collection. It feels to the prop can read spectator`s mind. You will love the cleverness of it. All 4 mentalism tricks are great and exceeded my expectations, although they looks so simple and innocent.

The mentalism tricks are all brilliant and real workers, you'll be able to take them out and use them all for sure. The puzzle is as brilliant as we all know it is and hey, if the maze is too commercial, there's always Professor Craze's Crazy Maze!

I still have to open all the mentalism tricks and some of the usual T-numbers ... . But I did read the manuals and I think all of the mentalism series are VERY, VERY clever. The secrets of the magic square are fantastic for example as Simon already said. The ESP deck has so many routines and possibilities ... . We all know Dream Psychometry because John made a better version of it (and I will keep using that one and leave Dream Psychometry unopened I think). The Mentalist Word cards is something I already own as a +1 from not that long ago and I love that one too.

Tenyo did it again ... original stuff, easy to do, and let's be honest, CHEAP for what you get!

Does anyone know when the English instructions for the 4 mentalism tricks available ? Probably Richard can help us to answer this.

You will be happy to know that I just checked the Tenyo site, and you can now download the official translations.

Thanks to Richard Kaufman, and Yukishige Kadoya!

Got all 4 of them. Thanks for the info Evans. Surprisingly all figures / pictures are missing. Is it happening to you also ? Or something wrong happened with my download.

So far, I printed only Dream Psychometry. No figures/pics.

At the top of page two, The Secret of the Item Cards, the word OUTER should be UPPER...correct?

The you know what's are located in the upper left hand corners.

Thanks Steve. I assume if there are (fig.) everywhere in the pages, there should be pics available. I`m afraid Tenyo uploaded the wrong file(s),,,not the final version. Hope I`m wrong.

None of the four files have pictures. I guess we can refer back to the original instruction sheets and follow along from there.

If a playing card is held horizontally, then it has "outer" left and right corners.
If a playing card is held vertically, then it has "upper" left and right corners.
Precision is the key to clarity.

The instructions that are up there now are not the correct versions--the figure numbers are missing. Have no idea why they've been posted in an unfinished state. I'm sure that will be corrected soon.

I am not sure why you would hold the cards horizontally. If you did, then the objects would be sideways rather than right side up. Therefore, upper left hand corner would be appropriate here. Correct?

What trick are you guys talking about? I read all the instructions from the Mentalism line made by Hitomi and don't recall something about playing cards held horizontally/vertically, outer left or right corners, ... ?

Ahh yes that makes sense.
The metal pegs arrived today so I will be painting them this weekend.
This means Crazy Maze will be ready to ship at the start of next week. Most are accounted for already, if anyone would like grab one of the last two let me know :)

Strange. I haven't read the official instructions yet but Hitomi's manual sais just look at the marks in the top left corner ... .

She is correct! :)

If you are holding the cards correctly, it would indeed be the top left corner. "top" and "upper" are interchangeable in this situation but not with the word "outer" as far as I can see.

I think you're right Victor ! I decided to order Magic Maze too AND to ask Simon for reserving a Crazy Maze ! This would work great at the next birthday with my family :)

*IMPORTANT PEG UPDATE!*
ok slight overkill ;)
Just to let you know, I've been testing out the metal pegs that arrived today. They don't quite look right (bit too short) and also they don't hold the paint well enough (it would all scratch off after a few uses)
So I have been on a scouting mission all day and come up with the right solution. The pegs will be wooden, which in hindsight actually suit the aesthetic more. I will stain right through son I loss of colour. I'll also supply a set of spares too :)

They're looking more authentic by the minute. My hope is that you can take the board out, say it's 50 years old and no one questions it :)

With that design it has to be from the 1940s, so 75 years old is more like it!

Question for Richard K- in the Japanese version of the instructions for Miracle Magic Square, there is a bonus trick where added numbers equal the numerical value of a particular date, ex, (for Nov 28th the sum is 1128). It seems there is a link to get the numbers for a date on the Tenyo website. Did Tenyo not want this included in the English version of the instructions?
