A Lesser Known Variant? T-103 Frame of Destruction

Hi guys,
Here is a lesser known variant that I suspect, many of us (including myself) would not have noticed, unless you have both items side by side.
I'm taking about T-108 Frame of Destruction.
The Japanese version graphics on the packaging denotes the old 1000 yen note circa 1963, and if you do not put the it side by side with the US version, one may not have noticed the difference in size!
