Tenyo Dynamic Coins and different currency

Post by Brett H » Fri Nov 14, 2014 2:32 pm

Recently, I acquired a Disneyland Tokyo Dynamic Coins for my daughter.
going off of the T69 Tenyo box, I believed ALL Tenyo Dynamic coins could all use US quarters.

To my surprise, it only used 100 Yen coins. I shouldn't HAVE been surprised, but I was.

Which brings me to this.

Are there any Tenyo Dynamic Coins that DON'T have the Disney/Mickey Mouse engravings that CAN use 100 Yen coins?
I'm asking because I think I can make a routine using the 1964 100 Yen coins and I'd REALLY much rather use THAT than my 1942 WWII Dynamic Coin routine with the US coin compatible versions
Where's my colon?!

The standard Dynamic Coins sold in Japan use 100yen coins.
There's one on Ebay now or you can get them from any Japanese store.

I haven't seen a Tenyo Dynamic Coins using US quarters sold for some years. Don't think they're made any more. But they probably made the trick in different sizes to match the coins in most European countries.
