Japan's customer base VS the collectors.

There's some weird statistics out there with Tenyo. For example, Cloud Money was the best selling TENYO in Japan that year, but it's considered one of the worst TENYO by everyone outside of Japan. Same for China Surprise: big hit in Japan, hated amongst collectors.
Are there any TENYO that are lauded by the collectors, but disliked by the Japanese customer base?
