Just saw one of these pop up on ebay. My question is that the fish is a rubber fish-- and the trick is old enough to drink. My question is that is it safe to assume that time has not been kind to the aesthetics of he trick? Is the fish going to be cracked and crumbly? Would the gimmick still work?

Is it worth acquiring to get for my daughter? Or is it just a collectors item/looking trick?

I think the rubber should be fine. It has the same kind of gimmick like a prayer vase, but with this one the item can be locked in place so it does not rattle around. Pretty cool I think you will both like it.
