That is very cool! I think maybe there is a paddle move when he shows the fourth side of coloured stones but not sure. The only thing I can think of is that the stones can all shift along to one side to reveal the all red ones.
If you look at the picture below the method used to make the crutch adjustable might have a similar working!

Good idea Simon....or maybe all the gems are translucent and you just see the colors of a striped moving bar inside the square shaped pillar (the bar is fixed at the end with a magnet?)......but Randy looks to know the prop and says that there are no moving parts??...can you tell us a bit more Randy??

It works the same as the original Spectra paddle but with clear gems over the painted holes. Similar to what Roberto is suggesting but no sliding bar is required.

Thank you for the info Randy!!....I have never heard of that Spectra paddle....so if I understood correctly this stick uses painted holes with the Dice Illusion (Lubor Fiedler) principle? (at least in two of it sides)....very clever!!

Anyone knows this ? Fantasio Zig Zag Bill

It looks like Magic Wagon`s Ultimate Zig Zag Card and works quite similar.

That zig zag bill is made by Robert Jackson Woodworks. It doesn't look like it is available anymore.

I wanted one too- I posted that I was looking to buy the version made by Magic Wagon on the Cafe, but a seller contacted me and wanted $550. I passed.

I will make my own version one day.

Originally it was one of the cheapest Magic Wagon items....it cost about USD 125.- if I remember correctly.

Yes, that's much too expensive for what it basically is as an effect. The apparatus/gimmick isn't something extremely complicated to manufacture I believe, it can even be done by hand ... . I'm sure Simon C. would be able to make a nice wooden one if he has enough time on his hands :)

I can see WHAT is happening but I can't figure out HOW they're hiding it at the end! It's a cute trick :)

Indeed, the 'improvement' puzzles me to be honest, the effect is an oldie but goodie :)

I don't know if someone already mentioned this effect, it's not really baffling but:

It's Ghost Cash by Astor Magic, and it is very similar to Tenyo's Midas Machine, it looks like a simpler reworking of it. It definitely works smoother than Midas Machine :)
