Skill Babe Review!

Post by SimonC » Thu Mar 13, 2014 7:40 pm

I was very happy to arrive home to a parcel from holland today :)
in it was a copy of Robs 'Skill Babe' which is his version of Tenyos Billscape. it looks and feels really nice (the paper case has a lovely satin feel) and performs very nicely too. what's nice about it compared to billscape is that everything comes in a really cool box which makes it better to perform. the box is wicked, it reminds me of a magic shop. I would snap one up if you havent already, it's a bargain at $25. perhaps if you have a mint billscape you can't bring yourself to open, this will help you enjoy what is a cracking effect.
rob only made eight and I've got one of them so there's not many left!
Oh and the spike is very nice, and very pointy you'll have no trouble getting it through a note :)
brilliant job rob :) mine is now sitting pretty amongst my other wonders :)

Jaime, I'm surprised that you received it soo quick!

And I'm glad you like it of course!

Yes, if you let sign the bill by a spectator the effect has more impact of course. Just let them give their own bill, otherwise you will end with all your bills full of holes :)

And Aha! There are my bills, as seen on your picture ! Put them accidentally in your package I believe :)

Have fun Jaime!

Thanks you all for the positive reactions. Skill Babe IS a worker for sure, because I tested it out many times, the case IS great, very sturdy material.

And by the way, I would also be happy to trade Skill Babe for an other Tenyotrick, a not too expensive one of course, like Funnel Vision.

Just to let you know.

Ok! I finally have gotten a chance to play this to my boyfriend!
And I have to say, he is not easily impressed ( maybe the fact that I talks about tenyo too much)
So just now I read Robs instructions a few time and practiced it a few time and finally decide to show it to my boyfriend! And he was IMPRESSED! It's an understatement! He was shocked because he didn't know what to expect and couldn't believe the fact that I fooled him! When I turned the pack around with the bill pinned on it that face is worth a million dollars! Thank you Rob for making this! This is one trick everyone should get!
The props were well made very durable and the box is very eye catching!!!
Thanks again Rob, you made a girl very smug and arrogant towards her boyfriend today!

Shan, great to hear you were able to impress your boyfriend! He will certainly think now that you have magical powers!
Thanks for liking my version of Billscape. Every detail was taken care for. But of course all credits go to Hiroshi Kondo who invented this trick!

I have only 1 left... These cases are not available anymore, so I can not make more Skill Babes!

Good to hear you like my Skill Babe Pete!
I believe it works better than the original one (which I don't own) because of the sturdy case!
