Fred Sharp Act Knife Sharpener :Updated Links Fixed

Post by Richard W » Tue Oct 25, 2016 4:50 am

Seen this posted on TMC saying it cost 55.95 in France yet it is easily found In USA and AU for not much more than it originally sold for which was $12.00.

You can still buy this item for cheap in USA and AU if you really want one not hard to find.

$16.99 USA

I saw that too Richard, it's a novelty item I'd love to have since I'm the cook around here :D

Your links don't seem to work for me however ... . Sad that the one in France which is close by is so ridiculously expensive :( I'd could probably order from the USA and still have less to spend including shipping ... .

I bought a couple of these a few years ago. A really fun novelty item, but don't count on them doing much to sharpen your knives. They do, however, do a great job of dulling them. :)

Nice design !
But I think it`s only interesting for magician, for laymen especially for my mom or my wife...it looks cruel :) :)

I expected this would not work well to sharpen as most sharpeners made like this leave a rough edge. It is just a novelty item. Sure not worth $55.95 that France wants for them. But for $16.99 as a novelty it does have that going for it. Too bad it doesn't also work as a magic trick too.

Agreed - if it were cheap I'd definately buy it. But 56 USD? No thanks :(
