I did not know where to post so I do it here.
I am lucky to go to the United States mid-June for work :
-2 days in NYC
-1 day in Chicago
-3 days in Indianapolis

And why not take advantage to find a small Tenyo?
Used tenyo are rare in France and it's hard to find them without using ebay (and postage may be high)
I do not know if I would have time to go shopping, but are there shop in this town with tenyo tricks (new or especially used) ?

I think most of the shops in the USA will have been plundered by our Tenyo collector friends from this and other fora by now ... but you never know of course
Especially look for magic shops who do NOT have a webpage

Try Fantasma magic in New York. Ask for old Tenyo: they probably have some in the back.
In Chicago try both Magic Inc. and Ash's Magic Shop.
I don't know about Indianapolis.

If i were you, i will hunt for Tenyoism. You can save lot of shipping but probably overweight on your luggage

Herve, please allow me to add the following for your trip to the US.

First, in Chicago, you are more likely to find used Tenyo at Ash's Magic Shop than at Magic Inc. Also, Magic Inc used to be located down the street from Ash's so it was easy to go to both shops. They have moved and I don't know how far they are from Ash's now. Bottom line is if you have to choose just one, I suggest Ash's.

Second, in New York, Fantasma is a nice shop to see. They have a small Houdini display you may enjoy. They carry currently available Tenyo and maybe a Crystal Tube and one or two other older Tenyos in the back but I doubt that you will find any other older or used Tenyo there. You may need to visit on a weekday to get access to the few older pieces in the back if anything is left. If you visit on the weekend, Nick will most likely be the demo guy and he is a good guy. Friendly and willing to demo for you although Tenyo is not his specialty.

I already buy two purchases from Ash on Ebay: once it was missing coins, the other time not sending but it worked out.

I hope to have time to stroll and to be able to visit the shops
