Elevator Dice by Eddy Taytelbaum

I am not sure of the exact history of this or similar effects. I have instructions with various copyright dates. This is the public part of the forum, so discussing it here may not be appropriate.

I am trying to find the earliest version of this effect using this method. It can be with balls or any other item, not necessarily dice. And it can be any size, stage or close up. As long as it is uses the same basic principle for the method. Please post the earliest references you know of. Any help is appreciated.

There is a website based in France that sells a 3d printed version of this effect. They sell two different dice size versions. The price is great compared to what they go for at auction. The site link is below.

I ordered the two different sizes, waiting for them to arrive. For the price, I will be able to perform it without worrying about damaging a rare prop.

I unfortunately don’t have any additional information on this effect. But watching Dominique’s performance video, I understand it’s secrets and think it’s an incredible effect, and Dominique’s performance is brilliant!
