I have no idea how much this would cost much less in pounds. I will take a wild guess....

that lock looks very intesting, and what is in the box. I myself am a collector of locking mechanisms and work very hard at cracking or bypassing them, call it a hobby but When I was Just a boy I had the fortune to visit the now defunct Houdini hall of fame in Niagra falls Canada. I can proudly say that I can pick or disable most so called high security locks in common use including dimple locks.

the actual cost was a stomach churning... £4.24! ($7.13) that's London for you.
I will post details about the other things in my haul after my breakfast, I'm very interested to find out more about you lock skills mike.

Well done everyone who entered particularly bob d and David who also did very well. Victor you are not too stupid for this game, this game is too stupid for you ;)

So the lock is a puzzle lock from cogent garden market, pretty easy to work out but very well made and good and heavy. The little box holds a quadrotor that I picked up,in hamleys. I am very excited to try it out today. They are super stable and look really cool :)

Thanks for posting the answers. I'm terribly wrong at this kind of puzzles but I find them very entertaining. Great job, I cannot imagine how you come up with all this but keep up the good work! :)

As to the beer prices in London, don't feel to bad, was recently at a Hockey playoff game and spent $11.00 apiece for beers. Went with my little brother who was here on a visit from his home state of Florida and my best friend. Being the generous drunk that I am I volunteered to buy the first round,$33.00. And guess who bought the 4th and last round. Yep, me again,I'll never learn!

Reminds me of the time I was on San Marco place in Venice. I was there with 4 friends, it was a year or 7 ago. I felt generous and decided to buy a small Espresso for everyone. We got a nice silverish plate, 4 cute cups, 4 litle cookies, milk in a special can and sugar in a goldish litle pot.
And I got the bill too: 45 EURO. That's 9 EURO per espresso :)
