The way the contest works is Roberto will give 2 clues per day about a Sci- Fi B-movie filmed in the 60s where they used 7 well known tricks and illusions as "science experiments" in a futuristic earth. The first person to identify the movie will win a nice assortment of prizes. Go to his Youtube Channel to see the rules and the first two clues. The contests just started a little while ago so don't miss out on this one.

I'm a movie addict, especially horror and Sci Fi! But I don't recall seeing this one ... . I'll give it a try though - thanks for the contest and prizes Roberto (and John)!

I don't think I've seen any 60s Sci-Fi movies to tell you the truth but I'll play along as well.

I know so guys said to me they were not playing because they did not know about movies. I don't think you have to know about movies to win this contest. I think it is more about searching the web for the answer. So it is more like a treasure hunt than a trivia contest.

I've searched and searched but found ... nothing that matches Roberto's clues. Very hard to find, just the way I like it!

OK WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!.....Mr. Simon C. aka Jenzo Harmonics who sent me a PM with the correct name of the movie early morning this Tuesday......CONGRATULATIONS!!

The contest ended faster than what I thought it would last.......but I'm happy that one of the forum members was the winner (just 3 hours after Simon's correct answer I received a a PM from a Youtube member also with the correct answer).

Before telling you the name check the other clues that I was planing to share:

Clue 3: The film theme is time travel: 4 persons travel 200 years to the future.

Clue 4: In an after holocaust future they find a group of scientists living in a cave (to avoid the surface mutants). These scientific are buildins a starship to escape to mars and start a new civilization there.

Clue 5: They travel to the future passing thru a big screen in their laboratory. The screen was supose to only show images of the future, but because of a failure it opens a time portal.

Clue 6: Director was Ib Melchior (this was suposed to be the last one because with the director name you just need to do an IMDB search to find the movie).

OK......here is the movie......this weekend I will upload a video showing the 7 tricks as they appear in the film:

LOL.....you did a hard work in fact.....checking more than 60 movies before you find yourself in from of a scientist squaring a circle.

Roberto posted a montage of the magic segments used in The Time Travelers movie the contest was based on. It is pretty cool, especially considering it was a movie from the 1960's. CHECK IT OUT!
