Hello all, my name is Kent.
My first introduction to the magic world was over 45 years ago. My uncle took me to Eagle Magic Store (Oldest Magic Store in America EST.1899 ) in Minneapolis, MN. My first effect was a packet trick called Twisting Aces. After entertaining my family, my friends and the dog down the street . . . I was hooked.
In the 80's I started creating magic tricks as the workings always intrigued me and was always fascinated in trying to create something by hiding another something which in turn made it an entertaining something.
I started creating effects out of exotic woods (mostly Zebra wood with other exotics used as decoration and contrast) in 2005 and was very fortunate in getting positive reviews and increased business over the next 7 years. Unfortunately family circumstances and some physical limitations had sent me on a different path until recently. I started looking into 3D printing back in Dec 2015 and over the next 10 month learned as much as I could to start designing in 3D. My education in graphic arts and computer aided design helped in understanding many of the programs involved in producing these 3D pieces.
3D Magic Works was started (October 2016) in the hopes of returning to the magic world and continuing to get more of my ideas created . . . in 3D.
