BotondK
Hi,
My name is Botond. I'm a hungarian magician, doing magic for 20 years now. I bought my first Tenyo trick in 1996. It was the invisible zone by Lubor Fielder (still one of my favorites until today). Then I bought almost all the Items released between 1990 and 2000. I did not have an intention to collect all, I just happened to like the tricks. Unfortunatelly I did not realise the value of packages back than, so in many cases I just threw them away. Later I have bought duplicates of my favorite effects witch are still in sealed packages. I was always impressed with the quality of Tenyo products, and I also liked the cleverness of the solutions (sometimes it is very hard to resist the temptation to show how a Tenyo trick works after performing it, because the solutions are so clever and beautiful).
In 2000 I started to do magic professionally and my interest of tricks turned to other kind of effects (sleight of hand magic, comedy stage magic), but I still bought few of the Tenyo effects I liked.
I do not have a very large collection of Tenyo items (about 65-70 different tricks alltogether) mostly the ones from T-100 to T-200. I only "collect" the tricks I like and my favorite ones are the ones made in the 80's and 90's.
I'm glad I finally found a forum dealing with tis topic.
