Victor from Indonesia

Post by VictorS » Fri Jan 31, 2014 8:47 pm

Hi guys,

I`m Victor from Indonesia. Very glad to be welcomed to this forum and hope I can share something also in the future. I have currently small collection of Tenyo magic and I really love Tenyo creations with ingenious mechanical marvel such as wonder windows (*I broke 1 of mine already and saw how the thing really worked :),,,geniussss !!), other crations like mini morphosis, trisector, etc.

Very happy to meet all of you.

Best regards from Indonesia,
Victor

Victore, do you happen to still have the broken Wonder Window? Of so, can you take a picture for us? Very interested to know how the inner mechanism works!

Thanks Per-Aage from Norway. Nice to meet you too ;-)

Hi David, It happened approx. 9-10 years ago when I bought my very first wonder window and I didn`t read the instruction carefully (my fault) and unfortunately I didn`t take any picture of the mechanism. Sorry.

I tried my best to fix it, but it ended up in my Trash Can. After you break the whole thing, it`s almost impossible to assamble everything again in the right place. It is also difficult to put everything connected and find the good power glue to fix it. Fortunately at the next day, the magic shop still have another window left, and I bought it for my 2nd time. At the time the price still affordable.

One thing I need to share with the community who own this trick, please follow the instruction carefully especially the instruction for Fig. 10. This action is mandatory and extremely important to setup the mechanism work again as you start the trick. I assumed many of the people missed this point. Although tenyo wrote it down in the instruction, it was difficult for the people to figure it out how the mechanism work. If I have time, I will try my best to make a quick draw of the mechanism and share with you, but I need to remember it.....sorry, it happened to me 10 years ago. :)

Hi David and Roberto,

I will try my best to give the rough drawing next week because I`m currently out of town for the whole week. Sorry. Please do not expect to much because I`m also not a good artist. I totally forgot the detail mechanism work because it is quite complicated but I will show you how the secret window move and why it is important to execute the move in the instruction Fig.10.

Thanks for waiting guys. ;)

Welcome Victor.

There are picture of the Wonder Window that I cut open in the Members Only section. Maybe this will jog your memory. It is not obvious to me how it works.

I am sure one of you guys will be able to figure it out and explain it.

Hi John,

First of all wow and I`m speechless, thanks a lot for your excellent work, great photos and a great honor for me to me colleague like you as world`s senior tenyo collector. Thanks for refreshing me again the detail of the Wonder Window. I will add some comment at the members only section.

Best regards,
Victor.
