Video by our own Roberto B. aka Magic Patagonia/Cormatches.

Watching this video made me up my score. In my opinion, Roberto's videos are the best on the web. His presentations are very creative and his performances are excellent.

All investments my friend.

If you buy wisely, you should be able to sell your Tenyo at anytime and get your money back and more!

This is a great trick with a special something so achieve a few of the phases as we all know. I find it however not that easy to do, but it could be me lacking practice of course.
It is NOT the same as the Winnie Cubes version that is still available, the Winnie version does not have the special something and is therefore easier to do but a bit less baffling.

It's one of those effects that requires a bit of remembering, and for me, a bit of confidence at the key points so I don't fumble and make a tit of myself. It's a brilliant trick and obviously has a sentimental element for me. It's a bit awkward performing it to my wife as it obviously has my ex-girlfriend on it but she appreciates the trick, I just do it in reverse for her and she's happy

LOL.....me too...

Thank you John for your kind words.........one of my favourites videos that I have made is your upgrade version for the Tenyo Black Hole (Houdini Handcuff Escape)......

There is a community out there making awesome magic videos....Japan Magic is one of them.......Tenyo Theater is another one.........and what about TANISHImagic....I like this guy!!....but my favourites are the mysterious ones.......I mean.........who is this brotherbor guy that seems to twist time and space using legos and other inocent components???......and what about this tenyobe guy whith just one mysterious video released? (are we in front of a new Kerry Conran?.....I hope not.....he only made one single movie and left his fans waiting for more ;)).....and this Jenzo Harmonics guy....he is a craftsman and an inventor that also make videos (watch and learn Elite Team!!....this guy make your 2 years work in just one week,...and he do it better!)........and last but not least: the Baird & Mazza underground scene (not available at YouTube)....mmmmm....yes...we are doing some really good stuff here....I'm proud of being part of this!

Very kind of you Rob but I think we'd all agree your videos top the bill. They have been a very well used (and comprehensive) resource for many years, we all knew you before we even got this forum together. Well at least your hands anyway. It's great that we're all starting to upload vids a bit more too, it's a great community :)

How many out there would be interested in a Tenyo Film Festival?

Thank you for the set-up my good man. You are a gentleman and a scholar.

I propose a worldwide Tenyo video contest of epic proportions.

The submissions have to be videos that have never been seen before.

The videos can be of any subject mater as long as it pertains to Tenyo.

It can be a performance video, or a video of a visit to a Tenyo Hot Spot like Tenyo Headquarters/Magic Shop at Tokyo Disneyland/Tenyo Magic Corner or an interview with Angelo Carbone/Lubor Fiedler/Steve Cohen about there experiences with Tenyo. Whatever, the more variety the better.

We would have prizes and for the Best in Show video the prize will be …

A Golden Hare

I think this could be fun I don't think we would get a lot of submissions but if some of our guys commit to doing a video that is a great start then a handful more and we could be at around 10 which would be fine.

I would sync up the date with something significant like the Tenyo Festival in September. Too close to this year but something that could be perfect coming off the first gathering in July 2015.

Just something I was thinking about.

What a great idea! I've spoken to their CEO and "tenyo at the movies" is happy to sponsor the event.
We could have a video link up "live from the red rabbit" for the premier night. I'll get in touch with Barbara bones and see if she wants to get back together, she's good arm candy.

Great idea John. So many videos have already been made of Tenyo items but if we can make them ourselves that would be great.
I've been thinking about doing Crossroads but it's very difficult to handle close-up on camera without arousing suspicion.

Looking back at this I might have a go at bare bones again, I practiced it when I first got it and then put it away but it's a fun routine to learn when you have a bit of spare time. Spreadwave is a similar trick, it takes a while to reacquaint yourself with it. Robs video of barebones is another of those clips I saw before I met anyone on the forum

Are there no history buffs here?

It was first published by Mr James Lucier in Genii 1949, it was called The Cockeyed Skeleton in the Closet.

It's a shame Mr James Lucier was not recognized in Tenyoism.

Yes but the original idea came from Jack Hughes with his Skeleton in the cupboard:

I know for sure, it’s in his books The world of Jack Hughes.

Hi Rob, what year would that have been? Does it say in his book?

OK, good question Collin...

I checked my three volumes of The magic world of Jack Hughes, which I have bought as ebooks at Lybrary.com, and only at a handful of his creations dates are mentioned.

Also it says that there were many effects of which he bought the rights and he produced them with improvements.

Here is some information from part 2:

So it is possible that he was not the original creator of Skeleton in the cupboard, but bought the rights and made an improved version.

Hi everyone,

This is my newest video in 2020 ! I am so happy to finish this project. I always want to perform Hiroshi Kondo's Bare Bones, Magic Cube and Cube A Libre but I never have chance to get the props beside Tenyo Magic Cubes. The first inspiration came from a good magician friend of mine from Indonesia and I developed a longer routine to make it more interesting. The props look simple but there was so many detail modifications to do. But I am so happy to accomplish this project. And I hope you will enjoy it too.

Special credit goes to the clever mind Mr. Horoshi Kondo and my friend.

Thank you and have a great day !

Cheers,
Victor
