This too is one of my all time favorite Tenyo tricks! I’ve been trying to find some small, fake plastic pencils to replace the real pencils. Maybe even some small decorative chopsticks would work.
Something to replace the black sponge will be necessary if you perform this often.

Congrats on achieving the acquisition of this Tenyo item Jeff!

So am I the only one who wants one of these and still does not own it?

Steve, how is that possible?!?!?!

As for my idea, I am currently going back to school for CNC machining...maybe i`ll turn some tapered stock and engrave them once I get to that point ;)

I am holding out for a brand spanking new one still in the cellophane seal and have yet to find it. I have heard that used ones have issues sometimes and for the high price that they sell for, I prefer to wait until I find a sealed one to avoid headaches. Maybe I will eventually score one.

The only issue I know of is the black sponge not covering the entire middle section/'gap' anymore - otherwise there shouldn't be any problems.
However this is a serious issue of course. I don't know anyone ever found a solution for this. What I would do is neatly cover outside of the middle section with some stretchable black cloth - never tried it though.

Ich habe Ninja Experiment auch und finde es wirklich sehr gut. Auch die Zuschauer sind begeistert.

Ja der Preis war nicht günstig aber ein wirklich schönes Requisit - bin stolz das zu besitzen.
Lieben Gruß

Christian, benutze bitte Google Translate:
"I also have Ninja experiment and I think it's really good. Also the spectators are enthusiastic.
Yes, the price was not cheap but a really nice prop - I'm proud to own it."

So I have some exciting news, I have just finished successfully replacing the foam! If anyone wants to know how to do it, I posted progress videos on the tenyo collectors facebook page, but might be able to post them on youtube and then post links here if you`re not on facebook. IT IS POSSIBLE TO DO, just have to be very careful in doing so!

There is one Ninja Experiment on auction right now in eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/201344019259?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

I am sad the seller would not ship to Brazil... so I can't bid :-(
Alex, I found a seller here in Brazil: https://riomagicpoint.loja2.com.br/6071 ... wTj_A.link the trick is going for 380.00 reais.

Note: I already bought a blue crystal from him, but it came with a little problem, and I don't know if this store sends its products abroad.

Hey Jeff,

This is one of my favorites as well. I would love to see this done in wood...or even 3D printed.
I’m glad you finally got this one as it is one of Tenyo’s best.
I can’t wait to see your idea for replacing the pencils.
