Magic Wagon - Brainbow Divination

Here is the description of Brainbow Divination which will be available on either the 3 or 4 of August 2020.

The performer displays a beautiful teak wood box along with a six sided hexagon wooden log colored (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Silver, and Violet). All of the items are then examined by the spectator. While the performer’s back is turned, the spectator is invited to place the log with his or her favorite color on top inside the box and lock it closed. The performer now turns around, holds the box in full view and immediately announces the chosen color while the box is still locked! The effect can be immediately repeated with a different outcome and everything can also be completely examined again.

Brainbow Divination measures approximately 10.6cms wide, 4.8cms high and 5.4cms deep and has been completely handcrafted from natural aged teak wood with a lightly distressed oil finish and slightly tarnished brass hardware has also been fitted for an aged look.

Thanks to Tony Curtis who provided the illustration above.

Ok. What to think of this next MW item?

The hexagonal block looks interesting...

Unfortunately, nothing about this effect piques my interest. There are too many other similar effects on the market to justify spending the high cost I’m sure this one will have. 😕

The nice thing is that everything can be completed examined.

That means ... guess what?

For me a disappointing 200 crowning ...
I had hoped for something more extraordinary
Possibly well implemented but that is not enough

I agree. Nice and very good looking effect if you start collecting magic however.

I'll pass this time. It's a nice-looking prop but a divination effect is not on top of my wish list.

Agree it is a nice looking piece and the price is reasonable for a MW release. I already have too many of these types of tricks, though.

Examinable is good it if truly is don't hear that hardly ever.
The price is much better than expected.
Lets see how long takes for it to sell out it is price to move. ;)

Looks like at this time only 28 left but don't know how many they started out with.

Madison 😎 thanks for rainbow shower 🌈

I like the bright colors and the brass knob
A very handy and unsuspicious magic prop

Picture shows an old style four color version

So I hear it isn't a P### box which is good news I think that fact alone will help it sell out, can't wait for mine to arrive and I also ordered the color changing bulbs.

Sounds great. However I do wonder a m&€#@% is required as in some of Magic Wagon's similar previous releases... and if so, it is easy to handle.

Yes the video of Madison doesn’t reveal anything ... which he admits on FB.

He only ‘revealed’ that some memorization is needed...

So yes, it is a peek box of course. And no extra sensory skills are needed :)

I will admit the box looks much better in the video than the MW pictures. :)

The color strips being metallic reflecting light must be to be able to peek and see them correctly.
Simon Layland says he hears it's not a p### box which is good news.
Rob says yes it's s peek box...so you don't have to be Kreskin to divine the color.
If nothing is to be found during inspection how can it be a peek box unless it's locking.
Must be real magic worth 10 times the price.

The color changing light bulb is cool way to reveal the selected color.
But using this electronic bulb with remote people will assume the log color was send to you via electronics as well.

Have to wait and see if it's peek or no peek I guess. Popcorn

And it’s now even for sale at Dynamitemagic.nl :D

There the description says, everything is examinable, because there is nothing to discover. :o

“Zowel het balkje als het doosje mogen grondig onderzocht worden want er valt niets te ontdekken (er is ook niets te ontdekken).“

Only in the Dutch description this is mentioned... So René Geelen, the owner of Dynamitemagic was able to inspect this effect...

Just a precision: You can perform Brainbow Divination blindfolded... It isn't a "peek" box.

And yes: very easy to do, 100% examinable and the memory work needed is also very basic.

Only 3 sets left at Magic Wagon!
