Oh my! I have such a soft spot for ring on rod effects!

This is a very interesting effect (I didn't buy The Enchanted Rings). The rod (or sword) is a lot higher in the box which makes it look a lot more convincing.
I also appreciate the fact the box can be shown from all sides.
The front panel is, in my opinion, a bit dull, but some people might like that. And you can always improve the looks with stickers, jewels, ... - take a look at what John Talbot did with the Houdini Block: https://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/vie ... 8&start=20
For now, I'm looking forward to see a demonstration video
I suppose you can take away the front panel (doors) before the ring is lifted up? If not, I don't think that's a problem ... .
A borrowed ring can be used, which means the ring we see on the floor is the same that the one we see a moment later on the sword. So I guess what matters here is that there is no duplicate ring still laying on the floor after the penetration took place.

I like this version more than the very bulky Louie Gaynor “Ring on rod penetration”, which I sold by the way...

What about laser cutting (metal overlay) or engraving (directly on teak)?
A jewel is an excellent idea...

My first impression was not as enthusiastic as it seems other Magic Wagon lovers are ?
But the curiosity for how it works is there. My aesthetic sensibility for the design is not
served, so i am still undecided - The trick preformance itself i find appealing and good

Overall it looks very nice, although the handle seems a bit big. That a borrowed ring can be used is a good feature.
I have a similar one and have to agree about the awkward handling. It's a nice dust
Collin I do not know how it works and what is the awkward part but it looks nice to me
Meridian Ring Cabinet on the other hand seems to have also a weak point in looking inside
As far as I see it so far, the spectator must therefore not be placed too close or high seated
Nice video Rob, smooth presentation! I did not buy this one this time, so it is nice to see the close-up of the cabinet in your video. The woodworking is indeed very nice.
I notice it has the same noise issues as the ring box I have.
It's the sound of the ring flying through the air and hitting the sword
I recorded my video in silence, which is pretty rare. Usually you tell a story, specs are moving in their chair or drink a beer...
But the sound is in my opinion not really disturbing.
IT'S AT LEAST NOT THE SOUND OF A GARBAGE TRUCK!
So no need for you to order this one!
Can you tell us who is the manufacturer of your version?
