WOW! I've just spent an hour playing with my carpenters revenge, I LOVE IT!
it works smoothly, has a great routine and the sword is very nicely selected! even the box is cool!
the manual is very thorough and helpful and after performing in front of the mirror a few times I'm getting the hang of it and fooling myself :)
I like to push th sword from the back first as it looks surprising and helps with the magic at the start ;)
congratulations rob on another brilliant trick in the brotherbor style, love it!

Wow that look awesome Rob. And the sword makes everything looks elegant. Thanks for posting the picture Simon and for the video Rob ;) if I didn't plan to allocate my magic budget for another tricks, I will surely order 1 from you Rob. But I'm quite happy already to have Tommy's wonderful books and enjoy the miracle. :)

Simon, I'm glad you like it. Indeed it works very smooth, and your laser-cut parts make it perfect! And I love the picture you made!

The sword is nice indeed, and you can also use a normal knife if you wish.

And Victor, all CR's are sold out, you can't order one anymore!
But I believe you will be creative enough to make one yourself! As you noticed, I used a mini jumbo card that works better than a Bicycle poker card. Please notice the wrong drawing in the Book of Wonder 1!

Simon, Thanks again for your enthusiastic review!

No problem Rob. I believe you will make the next batch with Simon. Guys this a good opportunity to go world wide. Take a look Tommy's website....you are allow to produce it and so far i know there was no licence required or available for carpenter's nightmare from another manufacturer. You will be the first guys. Check this out http://www.tommywonder.nl/catalog/licence.php

Great to hear you received it Bill! So now 3 members received their CR.

The others will have to wait a little longer, living in the USA, Philippines and Chili...

And thanks for your info Victor! Glad to hear that I have no copyright issues !
Yes I believe this item of Tommy Wonder has not been produced commercial...
So the members who ordered this really have a unique item !

If a second batch will be made.... The coming time I want to focus on other magic items... But never say never ! :)

So that is a relief for me.

Stimulated by the version of Thomas Pohle, I made another CR which is even more deceptive and less angle sensitive than Thomas' one:

https://youtu.be/ppvlhar1OE0

The idea was that the frame had to be the same size as the card. Because of the wider frame, the angles are better...

I had so many of these cards that I made a version totally made from these cards, and later I refined and improved it. That is the version you see on the video.

I will also make a smaller version, with Bicycle cards.

I don't know... Maybe this is a start for a new project, a laser cut version with the help of Simon, if anyone is interested in buying one?

Amazing!! That's the best version of them at trick I've seen. I looks so clean! The back is very deceptive and I love that you can see the card through the hole. Fantastic :)

Although the last version was very very cool, (yes, I have one) this version is just the bee's knees!

You remind me of myself cutting a new Guitar track, I always think that I have a better one in me.

I am applauding very loudly for this amazing, and greatly improved version of CR.

I sure hope that this is the next project, it's quite literally ... the revenge of the Carpenter!
and now, on with the show ...

Some previous posts were missing after the server migration a while ago.

I posted the beautiful new version of CR by Thomas Pohle:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=d8Fpy9TlfAY

I decided not to make a series of my self made version, because it doesn't feel right towards Thomas Pohle. My improved version works essentially the same as Thomas Pohle's one, which I happen to have.

I am thinking now of developing a version where you can show both sides.

Nevertheless I will make some extra copies of Sword thru Card, but I want to give them away for free to members who would like to have one. Provide your own sword :)

Me too Rob! If the requests have become a bit too many, I will step back and relieve the pressure. :)

You really did a beautiful job with it and I really like the design as well!

Ok guys, in the meantime I have 5 requests :)

I will make about 10 copies and it will take a couple of weeks to make them. It's a joy for me to make them so feel free to ask for one, here or via a PM.

I will only ask you to pay for the postage.

You can consider it as a small Christmas present :)
