YAY! Thanks for adding this one! This is one of my favorites!
Re: T-222 Fortune Sticks
Think A Drink is another great variation of Fortune Sticks. I love the quality of the cards. Excellent creation John !

I thought Think a Drink was inspired by Bird Watcher?
Re: T-222 Fortune Sticks
Emmm nope... John did create another Bird watcher effect called Bird Watcher Too but it was inspired from Dream Psychometry. Hope you are not confuse Rob...Rob Rand wrote:I thought Think a Drink was inspired by Bird Watcher?

Victor is correct.VictorS wrote:Emmm nope... John did create another Bird watcher effect called Bird Watcher Too but it was inspired from Dream Psychometry. Hope you are not confuse Rob...Rob Rand wrote:I thought Think a Drink was inspired by Bird Watcher?
Think a Drink is a card based version of Fortune Sticks that John B told me could be done.
Bird Brain is based on Dream Psycometry (Aged Cards Routine). It was previously called Bird Watcher Too because I used graphics from Bird Watcher in the beginning.

Re: T-222 Fortune Sticks
Ok thank you Victor and John for the clarification!
I really thought that Bird Brian was inspired by Bird Watcher, but that goes only for the pictures. Only recently I obtained the Dream Psychometry, the reissued version.

I may be in the minority here concerning this effect but I never found it to be all that exciting. In the past, there have been many effects similar to this one and I prefer some of those to Fortune Sticks.
Please don’t get me wrong! It’s not bad but not a big deal to me personally.
Interesting that Tenyo re-released it this year. I guess lots of people like it much better than I do...

One of the most astonishing and practical trick principles for me - I like it very muchmagicjeff wrote:YAY! Thanks for adding this one! This is one of my favorites!
Does not look like a toy and can be carried everywhere and is always ready to be shown
But what doesn't fit is the cheap plastic bag. The Tenyo Elite version is a worthy improvement

Re: T-222 Fortune Sticks
Personally, I do not find Fortune Sticks so interesting, it's almost impossible to see them on the sides in bad light, so it's not 100% safe and therefore not usable for me if I can not rely on the props 100%. The quality of the material is good and great processed but unfortunately only with me a 2/10
Lieben Gruß

I agree with you Christian! I have never been a big fan of this Tenyo release.
It’s interesting that Tenyo released this for a second time.

Instead of just divining the object I really find the fortune telling part very engaging to the audience.
I presented it as I have some modern praying sticks and will be able to tell your fortune for the next month. This is always interesting especially when performing for a group. Rating this a 8/10

It's a very nice effect and has the advantage that a lot of people are very interested in any kind of fortune telling, so using that angle could draw a lot of people in. I don't own it, but I'm slightly concerned about the amount of instructions you need to get the volunteer to follow, as I find some people have a lot of trouble following anything complex.
