Hi everyone !
I'm Sergio Amateis from Italy. Thanks for admitting me to the forum. I am a 61 year old old man, passionate about magic since I was 10. Unfortunately I have always been shy so I find it difficult to perform in front of many people. I only show my tricks to my family or a few friends. I'm not rich, I don't have many possibilities to buy what I want. And so often when I see a trick that I like, and I absolutely need to know how it works, I buy it on some Chinese site. I hope I don't get crucified for this!!
When I was young I bought many Tenyo tricks that were sold in Italy by MB Games, if I remember well... Unfortunately over the years they have all been lost. I continue to follow Tenyo because some tricks are truly brilliant, despite their simplicity, made up of just a few pieces of plastic. I believe that certain mechanisms, certain tricks, deserve a more refined presentation... Tenyo should also produce a luxury version, in wood, don't you think?

Tenyo did, no, other companies made luxury versions of Tenyo effects.
The latest was Mystery China Box made of wood, by Thomas Pohle!

Welcome to the forum, Sergio. And thank you for the nice description of how you got into magic and especially the Tenyo tricks. I remember there were some deluxe versions of Tenyo tricks in a "Tenyo Elite" series. But these were only available in very limited numbers and at a correspondingly high price. Meanwhile, this series has also been discontinued.

The Milton Bradley Tricks were called Milton Bradley Magic Works and many of the tricks were licenced from Tenyo. Milton Bradley's original tricks were good and Tenyo-like as well.
